JOE HOUSSIAN
Founder

Born in Brandon, Manitoba in 1949, Mr. Houssian received his Masters degree in business from the University of British Columbia in 1973.  Prior to 1976, Joe worked for the Xerox Corporation in sales and sales management. Joe founded Intrawest Corporation in 1976; a resort real estate development company in Canada, the United States and in Europe.  Intrawest ran ski operations and ancillary businesses; ran travel operations through Abercrombie & Kent operating in 100 countries. Intrawest was sold in 2006 for $2.7 billion.  Mr. Houssian founded Intracorp in 1994 and Intracorp Properties in 2007. Mr. Houssian is a member of various clubs and associations and is the recipient of numerous awards.

MIKE MILLER
Chairman

Founder and Chairman of Intracorp Real Estate, LLC, a real estate development company operating in Seattle, San Diego and Los Angeles. As Chairman, Mr. Miller provides leadership in setting corporate goals, processes and direction. Mr. Miller has extensive operating and financial management experience through his fifteen years of experience with the company. Mr. Miller is a former president of Intrawest Corporation, U.S.A., a diversified resort, leisure and real estate company headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Mr. Miller was a Certified Public Accountant at Touche, Ross and Co., known now as Deloitte & Touche. A graduate of the University of Montana, Mr. Miller is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Mountain to Sound Greenway project organization, AICPA and Young Presidents Organization.

MICHAEL LIERMAN
Regional President
Northwest Region

Mike Lierman joined Intracorp in 1997 as Vice President and was named President of Intracorp Seattle in 2002, and Regional President for Northern California and the Pacific Northwest in 2007. Mike directs and oversees all real estate operations for the company involving its real estate advisory, marketing and sales, development, and work-force housing groups. Mike has over 25 years of experience in all facets of the real estate development process including a wide variety of products types such as suburban and urban residential communities, commercial and industrial facilities, master planned land developments, and income properties. Before joining Intracorp, Mike served for 10 years as a Vice President and Partner with Buie Communities, Inc., a major real estate developer in Southern California, where he managed the development of large land, residential and commercial projects. Mike is a registered Architect and holds Master’s degrees in both Business Administration and Architecture from the University of Illinois. Mike is also an active member of real estate professional associations including Urban Land Institute, BIAW–MBA, and NAIOP.
 

PETER LAUENER
Regional President
Southwest Region

Peter Lauener directs all land acquisition, entitlement, forward planning, business development and long-range vision strategy for the growing development operations of Intracorp throughout the Southwestern Region and Hawaii. He has managed Intracorp Southern California's operations since he established the company in 2002. A 25-year veteran of the Southland’s development industry, Mr. Lauener was previously the Senior Vice President of Catellus Residential Group. From 1985 to 1993, he served as project manager/division manager for The Lusk Company.

JIM DeFRANCO
Chief Financial Officer

Jim DeFranco joined Intracorp in 1995 and served as the Chief Financial Officer of Intracorp Seattle until 2004. As Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Intracorp Companies, he is responsible for risk management and insurance, taxes, litigation, and financial and cash managment for all of the Companies. Mr. DeFranco was previously Chief Operating Officer of Ferguson Construction in Seattle, Washington. Prior to that he was a partner with Deloitte & Touche where he served in Seattle, New York and San Francisco.
 

DAN MILLER
Vice-President

Dan Miller joined Intracorp in 2005 and is responsible for managing capital markets relationships across Intracorp's portfolio of businesses. Prior to Intracorp, Dan spent over 12 years in corporate finance, product, and accounting roles at enterprise software, investment banking and public accounting firms, including Oracle Corporation, Axciom|Digital, SG Cowen and Arthur Andersen. Dan received his Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University.
