JOE HOUSSIAN
Founder
Born in Brandon, Manitoba in 1949, Mr. Houssian received his Masters degree in business from the University of British Columbia in 1973. Prior to 1976, Joe worked for the Xerox Corporation in sales and sales management. Joe founded Intrawest Corporation in 1976; a resort real estate development company in Canada, the United States and in Europe. Intrawest ran ski operations and ancillary businesses; ran travel operations through Abercrombie & Kent operating in 100 countries. Intrawest was sold in 2006 for $2.7 billion dollars. Mr. Houssian founded Intracorp in 1994 and Intracorp Properties in 2007. Mr. Houssian is a member of various clubs and associations and is the recipient of many awards.
MIKE MILLER
Chairman
Founder and Chairman of Intracorp Real Estate, LLC, a real estate development company operating in Seattle, San Diego and Los Angeles. As Chairman, Mr. Miller provides leadership in setting corporate goals, processes and direction. Mr. Miller has extensive operating and financial management experience through his fifteen years of experience with the company. Mr. Miller is a former president of Intrawest Corporation, U.S.A., a diversified resort, leisure and real estate company headquartered in Vancouver, Canada. Mr. Miller was a Certified Public Accountant at Touche, Ross and Co., known now as Deloitte & Touche. A graduate of the University of Montana, Mr. Miller is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Mountain to Sound Greenway project organization, AICPA and Young Presidents Organization.
MARVIN HAASEN
President
Marvin Haasen joined Intracorp Properties in 2007 as President. Marvin is responsible for the execution of Intracorp Properties strategy to invest shareholder and third party capital primarily in income-producing property along the west coast of North America. Marvin has over 20 years of experience in real estate investments, asset management and development. Prior to joining Intracorp, Marvin spent 12 years with Lend Lease Real Estate Investments acquiring under performing property and real estate secured debt. His most recent assignment was Chief Executive Officer of a USD 350 million (equity) fund that invested in Asian real estate opportunities. Prior to Lend Lease, Marvin worked eight years at a prominent Canadian real estate developer where he held positions in acquisitions, leasing and asset management. He received an undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario in urban development and a Masters in Business Administration at the University of Toronto. Marvin is a member of the urban Development Institute.
DANIEL O’LEARY
Vice-President
Dan O’Leary joined Intracorp Properties in 2007 as Vice President, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. In his prior two positions, Dan was responsible for acquisitions in Northern California and Nevada as Assistant Vice President of Acquisitions for Harsch Investment Properties, and Director of Acquisitions for Seligman Western Enterprises. Dan also spent time as a Senior Appraiser in Cushman & Wakefield’s San Francisco office and as a sales associate with Marcus & Millichap in Los Angeles. Dan has an economics degree from the University of Colorado and has completed MAI level courses at the Appraisal Institute in Chicago. Dan is currently a member of ICSC and NAIOP.
DAN MILLER
Vice-President
Dan Miller joined Intracorp in 2005 and is responsible for managing capital markets relationships across Intracorp's portfolio of businesses. Prior to Intracorp, Dan spent over 12 years in corporate finance, product, and accounting roles at enterprise software, investment banking and public accounting firms, including Oracle Corporation, Axciom|Digital, SG Cowen and Arthur Andersen. Dan received his Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and a Masters in Business Administration from Harvard University.
